At the age of 36, after graduating High School in 1980 with a drinking problem and experimenting with amphetamines, serving 5 years in the Navy where I started using cocaine and Methamphetamines and bought my first Harley Davidson, then back to civilian life and hanging around a 1% club and Methamphetamine becoming my drug of choice. I lived with a girl I met in TX and she followed me from TX, VA, FL then to TN. It was a very rocky relationship that was continued after I married her. Moving back home to TN to try and get away from the Meth and biker scene, I became worse using and dealing Meth and my wife couldn't put up with my antics any longer and filing for divorce. I had wrecked my bike, was living in a barn snorting meth to work and drinking alcohol and taking pills to sleep. I had a son who was living with his mother, I had nothing and began looking back on my life seeing how I had messed everything up. My parents asked me to move back home, which I did. they were Christians and soon I began attending church with them. One night I went to the altar and confessed my sins and asked God to save me. The wife and I had been going to counseling, we moved back in together and in a few weeks my wife got saved also. That was in 1996 and to this day we are together and are a Christian family. We became foster parents and adopted and raised 2 girls along with my son. I have never gone back to the drugs and alcohol. I am a chaplain with a Christian motorcycle association. Jesus Christ made it possible to put the demons behind me!
