As a child, I encountered physical, mental, and sexual abuse from a family member. All I knew was abuse until DSS removed me. That was over 30 years ago. I'm in therapy. I have anxiety that sometimes makes it impossible to do anything in public. My depression and PTSD have caused many times of not wanting to get out of bed, take a shower, or anything. But now, with the support of my loving wife, I celebrate waking up each day. And I try to help someone every day.
