I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme in 2001. I had just got a handle on that when my son was born in 2017. In early 2020, my son was diagnosed with autism. Right after that, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was at this point that I broke. I was suicidal. I ended up in a mental health program. It's now 2024 and my son is absolutely killing it in 2nd grade. I still have my brain tumor, but it is what it is. I'm still here. I'm still fighting. I get up everyday and decide that whatever it is, it's going to have one hell of a fight on its hands if it thinks it's gonna end me. My son is the bravest person I have ever known, and I take alot of courage from him.
