I have been dealing with several serious health issues in the past several years. I am diabetic and about 7 or 8 years ago I had an extremely large callous on my foot removed. However as time went on this would not heal and eventually got infected and I was hospitalized and my toe was amputated. Several years later my foot got infected again and once again I was hospitalized and another toe was amputated so I am currently down to 3 toes on my right foot. If this was not bad enough during this time my doctor noticed a mole on my shoulder that she wanted me to get checked out. It turns out that it was cancerous and I had to go through two skin graft surgeries and have it removed. At the same time one of my blood tests came back with elevated PSA levels and the doctor sent me to get a biopsy on my prostate after which I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and had to undergo surgery to have that removed.

It has been several years since any of these surgeries and so far so good.
