I grew up in a broken home where my father drank too much and my mother was rarely around, always out with friends. With no real guidance, I learned early to take care of myself. By my teenage years, partying felt like the only escape I had. Trouble followed me everywhere—run‑ins with the law, drugs, bad choices stacking up faster than I could understand them. But even in the chaos, a small part of me knew I wasn’t meant to stay on that path. This is where I came from, not where I’m going.
