I had been a drinker most of my life cents 13 always the life of the party .

As friends were growing up & getting married, I live with my mom most of my life . Dad had passed when I was in the 6th grade.

As life went on so did my drinking, started getting DUI

I have 13 .

I had always been a surfer , but as I got older did not like sports much .

So I got in to motorcycle, as my Dad had alway rode a Harley.

I love it, but being a drinker it did not mix , as in 1986 I had a black out and had ran a stop sign woke up in the hospital had lost my right light below the knee & and a lot other problems with my legs

A few years went by but I was still drinking & riding got another bike as time went on , i had became a black out drinker on a bike.

My DUIs had cot up with me I went to prison for 2 years.

Got out had no plan picked right but up on the drinking again. Was out 5 weeks went right back to prison, this time I got 4 more years .

Ended up doing 6 years .

This time I had a plan.

Stayed good for a year or so , then I met someone life was good , till I found out she was a drugged, so what happened, I started do speed , just what I needed.

That lasted a fu years .

Mom had passed I sound her house moved to Utah.

I had a plan.

Got off the drugs but was still drinking.

It was not long I had lost everything.

A friend offered me a place to stay back in Calif.

So I moved back .

Had not seen my son so I rode my bike out to see him.

The next day I started to ride back home& had ran into some old friends at a bar .

Ended up having yet another motorcycle crash , had brain surgery.

That's a little bit of my story.

The good thing of this story is in 3 days I will have 17 years with NO alcohol.

It's been a long road but you know it was worth it all , cuz I have the most amazing life today.

And I still ride .
