I was a raging drunk from the age of 16-36. 1 was too many and a thousand wasn't enough. During my 12 years in the military, I was deployed to the Middle East for a little over 3 years. The substance abuse and destroying vehicles, relationships, etc just got worse. There was a time around 2011 when I was a trigger pull away from taking my life. After rehab, a good while going through 12 steps, etc, I'd finally had enough. Sure, life still gets loud from time to time. I got help, counseling, the whole 9 yards. Fast forward to present day I've been sober for over 4 years and am probably in the best shape of my life. If I can do it, ANYBODY can
