I'm a disabled veteran and retired truck driver. I grew up in an abusive home and was badly bullied before walking into a boxing gym when I was 14. The bullying stopped. After my dad died I dropped out of school and joined the Army. Boxed a little. Crap happened. After discharge, I started trucking where I worked my way into addiction to meth. Sold my bike and lived pretty much on the road...away from my wife and kids. Crawled pretty deep within myself. Couldn't find my way back. Addiction led me to failed drug tests, joblessness and homelessness, deeper addiction to crack and heroin. This all led me to prison. Gave my life over to Creator. Today the demons are behind me. Tomorrow isn't looking too good for them either. Coming up on 10 years off drugs. Thanks for letting me share.
