Nigel M.
When driving to work one day I suddenly threw up for no apparent reason. This was the start of what was to be the fight of my life. I had been a Muay Thai coach and trainer for over 20 years, I have fought professionally and trained fighters. But all my prior fights would pale in comparison for the fight ahead. “Mr. Mellor, you have stage three lymphoma. Lung Cancer”. I was mortified, I don’t smoke, I work out and I eat well. After aggressive Chemotherapy treatment I went into remission my weight was down from 220 to 150 lbs, but I was still alive. Within eight months of being diagnosed I returned to work. Six months later I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I was treated with a short term radiation therapy for twenty eight consecutive days after work. Now every day is a gift. I refuse to waste a single second. I love to get out on my Harley and see this beautiful country. I even started my own YouTube channel to document my recovery and the awesome places I ride. My name is Nigel, I’m a fighter.
