My story is pretty much like alot of addicts. I started using drugs and alcohol when I was 13 years old. I fought for many years to get clean, 26 years to be exact. I've been through alot of rehabs, been to jail I don't know how many times, went to prison because of all the DWI'S I got, and lost alot of trust and relationships with family and partners. Alot of my use came from the things I went through when I was younger. My parents had a very messy divorce with me stuck in the middle, with my Dad holding a gun to my head once because my Mom wanted to take me out of the house because they were fighting. I saw alot with them. I was molested by the guy my Mom was having an affair with for a year and a half only to be told by her I was a liar and just looking for attention and mad her and my Dad were divorcing. I was abandoned by both parents at 15 years old and had to fend for myself. After many other things that come with addiction, and overdosing and having to be revived twice, I decided after 26 years of use and abuse it was time to get my life together. Here I am now with my wife clean for over 3 years. I have advanced in my job and alot of my family relationships have got alot better, especially the one with my son. We are looking into buying a new home when 4 years ago we were scraping to pay for anything, have a new vehicle and alot more to show what alot of hard work will do. So when I read what your mission was, I couldn't help but buy some of your merchandise. Since then there have been alot of people asking what my hat, or shirts, mean. I tell them and well....many more have ordered as they have a story much like alot of us that are finally able to recover from whatever it is we were fighting.
